It has been extremely hot on this side. The trade winds pick up mid-morning but they are warm air.
We thought we were skunked today after going out to the point and back. Then on a last check at Lyman's : 2 big seals were hauled out R330 Squinty and RG40 Holokai . They must have hauled out shortly after my 2nd morning check. As soon as we arrived Holokai did a quick move to head to the water and stopped. We had time to document him, but he decided to stay there and have the waves wash his face.
Downwind from the seals was very smelly, one or both of them is near molting.
Sharing our other cool sighting of the morning, a group (pod?) of Spotted Eagle Rays cruising by. My hold cameras had a fantastic zoom but this one is amazing !
More tomorrow and Be Safe
