Word came from the east side from both Gayle and Marilyn that NOAA came out and bleached one of the male weaners. The weaner was given a N3 bleach, we are not sure if this is PO1 or PO3. At least there is something to determine the difference.
At 7 am Team Billand found Lefty RG28 snoozing to the right of seal inlet. He was alone, so they hung out for a while but not other critters came by.
Team Billand returned just before 10 and found Lefty in the water hole still alone.
Team Billand found their favorite male, da Benny RE74 in the shallows, just chilling. He stayed like a hippo for a long time, then moved to haul up to lower rocks.
Benny has two new "holes" marks on his back. Probably got them fighting over a female. He is fine do sign of distress.
At 11:30 Benny took off, swam out to open waters, BUT he went to the right, left and then came in again this time closer to his infamous playboy pond to snooze.
While watching Benny they noticed another seal hauling up on mid high rocks. It was RL20 Kalua. He stayed mid high rocks most of the time. His hook loop and trailer line was visible. He is doing fine.
Team Billand found Kaale RH32 in the outfall at 7 am, and then he disappeared an hour and half later.
They found him hauling out and landing at a near by beach on the rocks alone. He is "tree" green.
THE BIG NEWS of the day comes form posse pal Vicki who was on the north shore today. She was thrilled to find Kaimana RJ58! She is looking great. When she spotted her she was resting a bit then went for a swim. She galumphed up to a shady tree to snooze. When Vicki left and returned she was snoozing by the waters edge. Unfortunately a couple of humans disturbed her and she headed back to the tree to sleep.
