There were five seals on Rabbit Island today.
At left point beach:
Seal 1 - adult to subadult seal with new coat. This seal didn't move much and never showed its belly, so it was reported as an UU
Seal 2 - adult male with older coat with a fair amount of green, male belly and two tags.
Seal 3 - juvenile to subadult female with two tags, new coat, female belly.
Seal 4 - hauled out to Seal 1 briefly, then went back into the water and a short time later hauled out to Seals 2 and 3. Adult male with older coat, at least one tag and dark mottled male belly. Not as green as Seal 2.
About 30 feet east of the 3BS was:
Seal 5 - weaner size and coloring; no tags; The applied bleach was not visible and never got a clear look at the belly to determine sex. This could be either PO1, PO2 or PO3. It was not large enough to be PO5.
