On my 2nd look at Rabbit Island I found what would prove to be Kolohe (RW22) in the Morning Glory fronting 1BS on Rabbit Island. He apparently overnighted at that location and certainly on of yesterday’s Unknowns.
At 0714 Team Billand reported Makaiwi (R4DF) at the showers, White Plains. She would be gone on thier 1230 check.
At 1038 they found Kermit (R012) at Wind Sock.
At 1053 the Billands found Haupu (RB24 at Kalaeloa Campgrounds. She was gone on the 1415 check. They found lots of dog tracks at her spot. Chances are good she was run off.
At 1138 Dana called with a report of RI37 at Leftovers on the North Shore.
Also at 1138 Dana advised of an animal reported at Diamond Head. At 1353 she called again to advise that Colleen had confirmed the Rocky (RH58), at Leahi Beach Park.
At 1314 Team Billands reported 3 animals together just off shore at White Plains. At 1344 the first of these , M&M (R020) hauled out to the WP Showers. At 1357 she would be joined by RIP (RR70) & Makaiwi (R4DF). They reported seeing no line at M&M’s mouth. Tracy had said yesterday that she thought it was organic material (goop), and not line.
At 1752 the Billands found Pohaku (RO28) at "Puka Pants Beach", Nanakuli.
Thank you Michelle Jordan from today’s R5AY & Meli shots.
