At 0905 I found Kolohe (RW22) right where he has been the past 3 days, snoozin’ in the Morning Glory fronting IBS on Rabbit Island.
At 1024 my #3 son , Buster (RV08) hauled out to 1BS, and remained just below the Morning Glory all day. He and Kolohe were aware of one another but there was no observed interaction . He molt is 60%.
At 0633 Team Billand reported Makaiwi (R4DF) fronting Tower#1, White Plains. At some unknown time she would depart.
At 1022 Dana called with a report of RI37 in Mokuleia.
At 1433 the Billands advised that new volunteers, Bekki & David had reported the arrival ofd Makaiwi (R4DF) & M&M (R020) to the fence line at White Plains. They cordoned them off. They also cordoned off RIP (RR70) upon his arrival to the Snack Shack at 1300.
At 1608 the Billands found Benny (RE74) & Kermit (R012) at Paradise Cove.
The highlight of the day for me came at 1622 with a call from Tracy, advising that they had gotten a call from a fisherman reporting "RK96" off shore of Kaimana Beach, in Waikiki. That would be our little two year old female, Kaiwi. This is the first report of her west of Maunalua Bay !!
Old timers may have been wondering whatever happened to R018 ??? Well, thanks to Val Bloy I can tell you that he is happy and well, and rotting nicely on Kauai.
