Despite many a mile trod by both myself, Marilyn as well as Gayle (oh yes and Jack at the Bay too) it was an I no Kea or Kaiwi kinda’ day. Thanks for the miles to all of you.
At 0854 I found Aukai (RL12) snoozin’ in the grass behind Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. She would later move down allowing the ID.
At 0851 Team Billand reported Kermit (R012) at Wind Sock.
At 0941 they found R912 fronting #1775, Nimitz Cottages. She departed at 1824.
At 1023 came the Billand call reporting Haupu (RB24 at Kalaeloa Campgrounds. She departed at 1628.
Makaiwi (R4DF) was their next find, on the Ewa Beach side of the east end perimeter fence at White Plains. She departed at 1540.
At 1324 the Billands reported the arrival of RIP (RR70), fronting Tower#2, WP.
M&M (R020) arrived at 1346 , hauling out to #1708, White Plains.
At 1957 the Billands reported that Benny (RE74) had arrived to join RIP and M&M at #1708. Words were of course exchanged and all were now said to be in the water.
WHAT??? no pup pictures? how can this be I am going through withdrawal... for those of us who can't be out there we count on those photos!!!!!
