It was a thoroughly miserable day in the SE quadrant, and probably the rest of the island as well. The wind was insane ! especially at Makai Pier which is nearly uninhabitable with SW winds.
At 0720 I found RM38 once again tucked in behind the driftwood tree branch at the right end of Rabbit Island. Once again I was not able to get a molt percentage.
On my return to Makai Pier at 1030 I found Kaiwi (RK96) 50 ft left of 1BS, and Kainoa (RN04) fronting 2BS, on Rabbit Island.
On a pan at 1114 I found Duke moving down to the water line at Rocky Right Beach. He must have been hiding in the grass at the back of the beach, because I never saw him until this pan.
At 0830 Marilyn checked in from the 10 minute mark on the Mokuleia side Ka’ena Pt trail where she, Lesley & Tia encountered R912. A bit further in they found Luana (RN58) at Hidden Beach.
When they got to the point at 1130 Marilyn reported Ka’ena (RO40) and a 15% molted RIP (RR70) on the Back Beach.
At 0655 Team Billand reported Buster (RV08)&Makaiwi(R4DF), once again at #1760, White Plains.
At 0910 Team Billand reported Kermit (R012) fronting #1708, White Plains.
At 1119 Diane Tekai called advising that she and Melanie had found Right Spot (R016) at North Beach, on MCBH. Right Spot would depart of her own volition a 1214.
Team Billand called again with the report of M&M (R020) at Kalaeloa Campgrounds. Benny would join her at 1713.
At 1427 the Billands found Pohaku (RO28) at Tracks.
