It was about as miserable as a day needs to be out there today. Thanks to Melanie & Marilyn for sharing my fun, and the Billands putting in an equally tough day. At 1000 I found what would prove to be Duke (RA12) doing 7 minute dives at Blowhole.
At 1500, on my 3rd Rabbit Island check from Makai Pier I found RM38, partially visible left of 1BS, and Kaiwi (RK96) at Middle Cliff. A molting percentage on M38 was not possible, but he is nearly done.
Team Billand had better luck. At 0654 they reported an overnighted Benny (RE74) M&M (R020) at Kalaeloa Campgrounds.
They reported another overnighted couple at #1760 , White Plains at 0711. It was Buster (RV08) & Makaiwi (R4DF).
At 0945 the advised that Kermit (R012) was just hauling out to #1707, WP.

The car interior smells like a wet dog and my backpack is still wet. Otherwise, it was a fun day, in a masochistic kind of way. A good display of the power of nature.
