12/16/2020 Wednesday Monk Seal Dailies

 

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand and Lesley. Lesley's Ka'ena update is part two of the dailies.

Team Billand spent most of their day at the bay.  They found Nalu R3CX, RH48 Lei Ola and RL20 Kalua. Once again they were all busy foraging stuffing their faces. Seems these three are committed to the foragaing at the bay.

RN44 was also busy foraging most of the day. On their final check he had hauled out. Nice to see one of them on land.  They also had a visit from the Iwa bird.

During the afternoon Team Billand made their way to another west side location. They found RH76

Kala alone resting at seal inlet. She was in the same spot as yesterday.

They headed out and found R407 basking in the sun at tracks with RN14 Kalani. There were lots of folks out making their way by the seals. It's very frustrating to watch, and despite best efforts people don't listen.
