Went down early to check on the kids, it felt like winter was back. All day that cold wind was getting to the bones. Just like San Francisco in summer.
The promised big swell was rolling in RL42 & PO5 (D4) were being washed up by a big wave as I arrived. Mom moved up the beach and stayed in the same place most of the day. PO5 did a couple of turns around her and settled down to nurse.
Mean time RN58 "Luana" took PO4 (D10) down to the waterline. Though love was in action for a little swimming lesson. Pup was washed by a couple of waves and came back fast to mum's side.
RN58 decided it was time to go get dry, moved up in RL42 & PO5 direction. She settle for a while, there was an eye to eye moment between the sisters until PO4 started to move in RL42 direction , PO5 looked up and started to move. One flipper of RL42 held him back and she vocalized at "Luana" Strong words were said to each other and RL42 moved her body between both pups. Game over, still not this time pups would interact.
RN58 caller PO4 and they went towards the other side. RL42 still barked once or twice from were she was - there was even some stress foam, but it disappeared quickly.
I stopped by several times during the day and they hadn't moved from their position.
Sisters ! Cousins !
Day 4 PO5 and RL42
Day 10 RN58 Luana and PO4
