5/10/2018 Monk Seal Dailies (part 2) Lesley's Pup Update

Went down early this morning to check on moms & pups.

Was treated to see them all very active. PO4 (12) is already showing off his independence on big swims with momma RN58 "Luana" keeping and eye on him and barking him back.

After a long swimming session the moved up the beach a little and settle for some nursing and quiet time.

PO5 (D6) was also taken down to the water by mom RL42 - she had her flippers on the kid at all times and very often used her mouth.

that stripe is PO5 applied bleach - very cool that it looks red on the black fur
