Team Billand spend time through out the day and did multiple checks on their usual stops and all they came up with for the entire day were two critters.
At 6:45 am they found Ka'ale RH32 foraging at the outfall Leeward Beach. On a recheck at 7:40 he was on the rocks. At 11:02 he was still on the rocks alone. On their final check at 2:14 pm he was still there but the tide was rising.
Team Billands only other find was Pohaku RO28 resting on shore at an Ewa Beach. She looked very content and perhaps hiding from the boys. They checked the site multiple times and all the way back to the West side but Pohaku and Ka'ale were the only two seals.
As an extra treat on their travels one of the nearby ranches they saw a new colt, mom and escort .... and if that wasn't enough there was an enormous horse rolling around in the field.
Tammy & Dave did the Ka'ena Point trek and their only find was RR70 Rip. Chickie is getting more adult feathers.
