Team Billand did their regular route of beaches and found no seals until 7:30 am. On a Westside Beach they spotted a seal foraging doing 7 minute dives. They watched for almost two hours and finally he decided to haul in, and they confirmed their ID of Kekoa Alli RK72. Barbara could see the bumps on his mid back, left side, his partial N2 applied bleach. Just after he hauled out, Team Billand left.
Team Billand had a short day today, but before they headed out to an appointment they went to check Ka'ena West to see if Ka'ale was around. Unfortunately during their check they did not find little butt-head. However they did spot and animal with red tags, and tried to get closer for an ID but by the time they reached the area the critter took. This critter is being ID as a UU.
A little further out on the walk they saw an animal below rolling about making its way to leave the area. From checking their photos they were able to ID'd Benny RE74. He left the area heading west towards the point.
