When I arrived at AD at 0530 the parking area had way too many cars, and that was disquieting. As it turned out it was not party time, but lots of sunrise photogs, none of whom and anything to do with the site. That is not to say that there wasn’t a problem. The first order of business is always to check the perimeter fence, and when I got to the east end of the SPZ I found a derelict “permanent resident” type crashed inside the SPZ. I managed to get him out of the zone. He had climbed over the fence to get to his spot, and climbed over it again to depart. There weren’t enough functioning brain cells available to make the point of not being in there. Thankfully he shuffled off to his next crash location. So begins another day.
Marilyn & Melanie carried the whole day, but I’m sure Gayle was in there somewhere. Mahalos to all!It would take 4 hours to prove it, but at 0726 I found Kea (RN46) back at Rabbit Island after a 15 day mission to Kea only knows where. It was good to see the boy again. He and Kekoa (RK72) would meet up a couple of different time through the day, as Kekoa put in a cruiser male day, also hauling out to hang with Kala for a while , before returning to Kea.
I heard from no other sources today.
