At 0615 I found Right Spot (R016) at the east end of Sandy Beach. I cordoned her off and she has remained all day. HMMA Hotline notified. Posse member Vicki called at 1830 to advise that Right Spot had departed.At 0808 I found Kaiwi (RK96), approximately 1/4 mile east of the AD’s Wall, on Kaloko Beach. Thanks to Marilyn, Gayle & Jon for day’s work. Kaiwi is lookin’ chunky, but nothing yet. She did a couple of short swim sessions in the area, but hauled out again to the same spot. She hauled out at 1800 and was still on the beach at dark.
On my first Rabbit Island session I got only two glimpses of the Weaner’s chubby little body, in the water amongst the rocks of the left end.
At 1122 I found Cass(RG06)&Kekoa (RK72) together on the water front rocks, 50 ft left of Seal Rock Inlet on RI.Lesley checked in this morning to advise that Nihoa & Pup were happy and well. Jon and the volunteers were there to do the SPZ.
Team Billand checked in at 1233 with the report of Rocky (RH58) at Nimitz Cove (Kermit’s Reef).
