At 0716 I found a 60% molted RM38 snoozin’ in the Morning Glory, left of 1BS on Rabbit Island. He would later move down to the far left end of the beach to cool off.
At 0830 on my umpteenth check I found Kea (RN46) at Crappy Cove, Sandy Beach. I cordoned him off and he remains at dark.
On my return to Makai Pier at 0944 for my 2nd RI check I found that Duke (RA12) was now at 2BS, and what would later prove to be Aukai (RL12) was at the back of Rocky Right Beach.
At 1028 Gayle called with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at Lanai Lookout. She sent excellent confirming photos.
At 0811 Team Billand reported RK36 at Maili Point.
At 0844 they reported Benny (RE74) at #1707, White Plains.
Also at 0844 they advised that Buster (RV08) and Makaiwi (R4DF) were still at #1760, WP. They reported that Buster left that location at 1035 and hauled out to join Benny briefly. They had words , of course, and Buster departed at 1050. At 1635 Buster once again hauled out to join Benny, and once again they had words and at 1652 Buster departed again only to haul out to Makaiwi at #1760. The Billands also advised that Makaiwi may be beginning her molt, with small spots on the chest.
At 0933 the Billands found M&M (R020) at Kalaeloa Campgrounds.
At 0948 they reported Kermit (R012) at Kermit’s Reef.
