At 0730 I found a 70% molted RM38 up in the Morning Glory, 40 ft left of 1BS, on Rabbit Island. He would later move down to cool off.
On my 4th look at Crappy Cove, Sandy Beach, I found Kea (RN46) perched on his favorite rock hangout. I cordoned him off and he remained all day, departing at 1754.
At 0710 the Billands once again found Benny (RE74) at #1707 , and BusterRV08)&Makaiwi(R4DF) fronting #1760, at White Plains. Benny appears to be starting his molt.
At 0923 they observed Kermit (R012) hauling out fronting #1708, WP.
At 1027 they advised that Buster had departed Makaiwi, and at 1107 attempted haul outs to both Benny and Kermit’s locations. In both cases there were words exchanged, and Buster departed. The boy was last seen headed west. At 1617 the Billands called again to advise that Buster was back, and once again had stopped by to have words with Kermit & Benny.
Morning email from east coast USA posse member Vikki brought word from a friend of hers about an animal at North Beach, MCBH. The photo provided was inconclusive. I contacted posse member Jen Christian and she confirmed the Right Spot (R016) ID at 1707. Confirming photos coming.
