8-9-2013 DB's Dailies: Irma&Kea(D#36)@AD, Duke@RI, Pohaku&Kolohe@Secrets, Buster,M&M@KCG, R912&Pup@Mokuleia

At 0600 we found Irma & Kea (R010)(D#36) in snooze mode, at last night’s location, mid SPZ, just above the water line. They did a feed at 0616, and then Kea began moving down to the low tide channel fronting their location a 0704. Irma would follow at 0720 and both spent the morning staying cool in the channel, mostly snoozin’. The log shows only 1 afternoon swim session, returning to their starting point. The were 2 more observed feeds. I’m happy to report that 2 HPD Quads are patrolling the AD area tonight, and hopefully tomorrow night !

　

At 1124 I found Duke (RA12) at the far left end of the beach on Rabbit Island. He was the only observed RI critter.

　

Team Billand called at 0608 with the report of Pohaku (RO28) at Secrets.

At 0654 they called again to advise that Kolohe (RW22) had arrived at Secrets to join Pohaku.

　

Dana called at 0840 to advise that Dera had reported that R912 had pupped at last year’s site in Mokuleia. Thanks to Paul & Judy Nelson for the response and the shots.

　

Team Billand found M&M (R020) at Kalaeloa Campgrounds at 1000.

　

At 1557 they advised that she had been joined by Buster (RV08)

　

The Billands advised that a 3^rd animal attempted to haul out at Kalaeloa Campgrounds, but the adoring hordes raced to the water line, cameras in hand and the animal was unable to haul out and departed. The Billands were unable to get an ID.
