We arrived at the AD site on this miserable, rainy, windy morning to find Irma &Kea (D#37) snoozin’ away, right where they were last night, mid SPZ, just above the water line, 150 ft east of the AD wall. All that Jo Ann and I saw on the first shift was a single feed, and lots of snoozin’. The log showed 4 additional feeds, and 1 swim session. That session ended with them hauling out 20 ft west of the east perimeter fence at 1630. Dennis called and I arrived at 1700. We extended the east perimeter out another 150 ft. Irma&Kea had just finished a feed and settled into snooze mode at the end of our day.
At 1230 on my 2nd look at Rabbit Island I found what would prove to be Duke (RA12) and Kaiwi (RK96) together at the far left end of the beach.
Team Billand called at 0637 with the report of Pohaku (RO28) at Secrets.
At 0930 they found M&M (R020) at Kalaeloa Campgrounds.
Marilyn & Lesley had to forego the usual KP trek due to rain, but did the first shift at the R912 site. All was well, and Lesley provided photos.
Dera called at 1609 with the report of RI37 at Papailoa Rd on the North Shore. ID was by tag.
