8-15-2013 DB's Dailies:

At 0550 we found Irma & Kea with a feed in progress, on the sand, 150 ft east of the AD wall. The feed ended at 0630, and a snooze session ensued. I was off to the rest of my route when Lesley arrived at 0700.

　

At 0740 I found Buster (RV08) doing 7 minute dives at Spitting Cave.

　

Lesley called at 0953 to advise that Irma & Kea were west of the SPZ and at the closest point the pup had been worked in the shore break, 20 ft from the AD wall. When I got there they were in the process of hauling out 50 ft east of the AD wall. The troops had erected a temporary cordon. Later Vikki, Gayle, Melanie, June & I redid the SPZ. At 1629 Irma & Kea moved down into a tide pool. With Irma in the lead they moved out of the tide pool 1724, and entered deeper water. They move to a point directly in line with the AD wall, and for the second time today the pup got worked in a small inlet just to the east of the wall. Irma hauled up onto the rocks at that location but the pup couldn’t make it, so she returned to the water. At 1748 with Irma leading they began to galumph over the flats, heading east. At 1800 again with Irma leading they hauled out to their starting point, 50 ft east of the wall. After moving up to the sand they did a feed from 1827 to 1856. Both were in snooze mode at dark. So much for Irma being a 42 day Mom. We march on to D#43. Only Irma knows !

　

Team Billand reported Pohaku (RO28) & Kolohe (RW22) just arriving at Lanikuhonua at 0655.

　

At 0715 the Billands reported M&M (R020) at Kalaeloa Campgrounds.

　

At 1028 Team Billand reported Ewa Girl (RS00) at the Reef Runway.

　

Gayle called at 1527 with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at Buster Flats.

　

At 1438 they reported RI37 in a new coat at the showers at White Plains.
