Apparently they follow the postman's creed when it comes to seals. Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.
I think that sums it up.
Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:50 to 2:20 and she only found one seal on island during that time.
Up in the dunes just Makapuu side of the 3BS was an Unknown/Unknown: probably subadult to adult size, yellowish belly, unknown gender and tags.
Team R&B braved the thunder and lighting, plus the pouring rain. They went to white plains and there was one seal on shore. They waited for the rain to ease up before walking out. Finally they were able to take a look at the fat RH92 Nalani on shore. She was doing just fine with all the weather.
The rain kept coming but they still tried to find seals. Finally they spotted on the rocks at Kahe. They were able to ID RL08. He was in a sound sleep and never moved.
In spite of the brown water and debris floating about they did spot two whales.
On their last stop they only found one seal. They did their best but could not see anything that would give them an ID. The seal was tucked in and not moving. So the seal was reported as an Unknown Adult.
