Team R&B started their day spotting two adult seals galumphing on the rocks at a west side location. When they got to site they saw it was RH76 Kala and big handsome RK72 Kekoa.
They make a great pair, not fussing with each other and would make very cute pups. They are both lovers not fighters.
Next they headed over to the bay and found a seal on the rocks. Theywere able to ID RL20 Kalua, he is looking healthy and was alone today. He'll be turning four this year.
While looking around they spotted another seal from afar. When they got closer a guy called out Auntie over there and pointed them in the right direction. They went over and found R3CX Nalu on shore.
Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 2:55 to 4:20 and there were a total of four seals throughout her observation.
A short distance from the 1BS was an Unknown Adult 1: large adult size, darker belly and no tags were seen. Eventually this seal moved up into the dunes.
Down from the 3BS was an Unknown Subadult 1: subadult size, two red tags, tannish belly, unable to determine gender.
At 3:56 Marilyn noticed another seal had hauled onto LPB approaching the 1BS. Unknown Adult 2: adult size, unknown gender and tags because of its position.
Just as she was starting to pack up she saw another seal hauling out between the 1BS and 2BS. It immediately headed up inot the dunes withing view of U/A 1. Unknown Subadult: subadult size, unknown gender or if there were tags.
