11/6/2015 DB's Dailies: Kainoa & Kolohe @ Rabbit Island

At 0708 I found what prove to be Kolohe (RW22) up in the Morning Glory, 40 ft left of 1BS on Rabbit Island. He would move down at 0854, and at 0857 met a smaller animal at the water line, which would turn out to be Kainoa (RN04). Both would enter the water for a swim/play session at 0900, and haul out together at 1040 fronting 1BS. Kolohe gave Kainoa a brief bark and Kainoa would move off approximately 25 ft. They remained at those positions the rest of the day.

 Other than Lesley’s call at 0740, advising that RW02 was absent from his molting spot , I received no other calls or text about any other animals from any source.
