I got to Makai Pier at 0730, but it would be 0840 before I saw a Rabbit Island animal. On one of many pans of the beach, I finally found a brown lump in the Morning Glory, 100 ft left of 1BS. It would prove to be Kolohe. He had no doubt been there all along in the lush MG. He would move down to the far left end of the beach, at 0934, and it was then that I saw that he has begun is molt. D#1, 2%.
At 1037 what would prove to be Kainoa (RN04) hauled out fronting 1BS. That would turn out to be the SE quadrant cast for the day.
Team Billand called at 0851 advising of a foraging animal off shore of Germaine’s Luau, Campbell Industrial Park.
At 1033 Barbara confirmed the Pohaku (RO28) ID.
Karen Turner advised that Holokai (RG40) hauled out to the Keiki Pool, at 1030.
I found an Instagram photo showing KC (RK28) at MCBH today.
A call from Lesley at 1659. brought news that RW02 was once again near the Lyman Estate. He has been there since early afternoon.
