Oh my! Right Spot looks so bad, seeing her ribs makes me feel worried, that is really thin. I hope she will pick up weight fast and is all right. Oh how how these seals continue to struggle for survival, but I understand its what they do all the time. Just seeing Right Spot is shocking. Glad she is back home.

Yesterday a boy asked us, "WHAT IF I RUN UP TO THE SEAL? WHAT IF I THROW ROCKS AT IT? WHAT WILL HAPPEN?" Why on earth would anyone want to throw rocks at a seal, I thought? We gave the boy our speech, hoping it would sink in, NO THROW ROCKS OR DISTURB THIS GREAT SEAL!! STAY AWAY, LET HIM SLEEP, HE MEANS NO HARM TO YOU! We had to leave Benny's site, but, knowing that this boy would be there, probably doing what he asked, kills our souls. Every day we try to reach these people, there are a few, no matter what you say...THEY DONT GIVE A DAM!!

This boy, probably didnt have a good foundation in being taught. My parents taught me a lot, how to respect, obey rules, be honest, and to do all you can to protect the sea, its creatures. How do you change a kids understanding? Its tuff, but we keep trying. We all have to keep trying!!! BAH!!!!!!!!!!
