Team Billand observed Ka'ale RH32 from 7:20 am to 9 am at the outfall. He was doing his usual foraging alone today. He was a good critter today and didn't steal any fish (that they could see). At 8ish Ka'ale was seen going further out, but came back in about 8:30 am.
Team Billand left the site at 9 am and he was still foraging.
Once Team Billand left the outfall they went to a couple close by beaches and at 9:45 they saw Ka'ale coming in. At this time Team Billand observed a couple of boats in where the dolphins rest. There were lots of swimmers in the water with the dolphins.
Ka'ale hauled out layed on his back letting the waves move him about. Then he galumphed up on the rocks, looking for any friends, but none of his buddies were around today.
Team Billand found Kekoa Alii RK72 at a west-side location on mid rocks snoozing all alone. His tag were visible, the bumps on his left mid back and the scar on his right cheek.
Waves were big and getting bigger.
Despite Team Billand's checking the rest of their seal route, they did not find anymore critters.
