Team Billand got to KoOlina by 6 am thinking they would find Nalani RH92, but they were surprised to find RO28 Pohaku back after weaning her pup on 8/28.
She is looking good putting on weight and she looks to be starting her molt. Interestingly on her back, her cookie scars, and they could see under her chest.
At 6:47 am Pohaku suddenly left when some swimmers came by, she went out by the buoy, turned around and came back in at 7 am hauling way up to snooze.
Team Billand asked security for signs and ropes, since they couldn't find anywhere. Well turns out signs were still with RH92 who was there overnight. Signs were still up around her.
Security finally found a set of six with wood posts and thick ropes. Team Billand called the hotline and volunteer Melina arrived at 9 am.
At 6:30 while Team Billand was with Pohaku, Robert went to find signs and he found RH92 by the Naupaka sleeping. He noted that RH92 has "teeth" marks around her teats since they saw her yesterday.
Robert adjusted the signs, and went back to Pohaku at 7 am.
Team Billand left KoOlina after volunteer Melina arrived. They found Ka'ale RH32 at 10 am on the rocks at a westside location. He was moving about and showing tags. They saw there was a volunteer in the area, so they flagged her down and pointed her to Ka'ale's location. They left shortly after.
Next stop at 11 am they found Kawena mid rocks, slumped over the rocks. It took them a bit to get her ID, at first they were hoping it was Lei Ola. But they finally got Kawena's tag RH36.
To the right of Kawena was RG28 aka lefty. He was sleeping inland in peace and not bothering Kawena during their observations.
Team Billand did the Ka'ena West trek and at the 20 they see a green male, tags, but unable to read. They were finally able to ID RN14 Kalani resting on the rocks.
On the way out from the hike RN14 remains alone.
