They arrived at Plains at 8:30 am when the life guards had just finished putting up a zone. Pohaku R028 was resting and looking good. They noted she might have a new cookie wound but hard to tell since she has quite a few. They called the hotline and waited until 10am, no one arrived at that time.
Next stop Team Billand found RW02 PvKauai. He was in line with the bath house and jetty. Some dude came by stood close by reached in the water then fanned it out. No harm no foul, just a little weird.
Team Billand had made an early morning stop at the westside hot spot. At 7 am they found Ka'ale RH32 on lower rocks alone. He is looking very green.
On their second visit Ka'ale had company, Kawena RH36 was now by his side.
Last visit they were both still together, cute couple.
Afternoon stop at Yoks Team Billand was surprised to see a seal without signs and people on shore. Da Benny RE74 was resting, his tags were barely visible. After asking a few folks seemed Benny had been there for a bit.
She moved down to Leia RL42, who whooped at Kaimana a bit, she stopped and stayed in her space. Finally Leia settled and they both rested. RJ58 is tiny compared to RL42. Team Billand did not stay long, as they didn't want to draw attention to them.
Last but not least they found Lei Ola RH48 in an awkward position on the rocks. It took a bit to recognize her but they were able to see the tag and ID Lei Ola RH48 after she moved down to the shallow water pond.
