Once again Team Billand was at the outfall before 7 am and there was a seal they spotted foraging but then it took off heading west. Team Billand met up with Cianna and spotted another seal swimming in a westerly direction. There were no photos of the U/Us at the outfall.
At 9 am Team Billand found Pohaku RO28 at Nimitz in the same sport napping by the trees. She is looking healthy and resting
peacefully. They called the hotline.
Next find of the day was at the campgrounds and there was Temp 400 with Buster V08 side by side. They were pretty still except for Buster checking on her, all was peaceful.
Then Team Billand went off to the westside beach and were once again blessed to find a group of seals.
First there was RW02 PvKauai who Barb described as a clown, in that his selection of resting places can be quite comical.
Next was Kekoa Alii RK72 on high rocks getting washed off and swam his heart out to get back up, but today the waves were win. He went through a small inlet and just rested there.
Kalani RN14 was next to Kekoa on high rocks but woke up to find Kekoa had left. RN14 was struggling to get himself up to check on where his buddy went to.
Ka'ale RH32 was on lower rocks with G28. Of course Ka'ale had to show off and butthead G28 which resulted in some vocalizing and then they both settled in.
The last seal of the day at another westside location was Kolohe RW22. He was sleeping, partially submerged, but as the waves came they moved him about. When he awoke he left the area. He is one big fat boy, and if one didn't know he was a male, might think this critter was pregnant.
