Team Billand found a couple of the usual characters today starting at 8:30 Kekoa RK72 and RW02 PvKauai were the first two of the day. Kekoa was to the right sleeping on his side, looking nice and plump. RW02 was also to the right sleeping at a lower level than Kekoa.
Then later in the afternoon around 1:30 they found a third seal at the site. They were finally able to ID Kaale RH32 because he not in a good position to see any of his markers, but then he moved. (thank you Ka'ale).
At about 11 am they headed by some the beaches at Waianae and saw a volunteer on shore with people but no seals. Then Team Billand spotted a couple of seals in the water, passing a large group of people by the tour boat. One seal had a bleach number which turned out to be RH92 also seen her facial scar as she swam by.
There were lots of snorkelers, paddle boarders, and the tour boats, crazy! Life guards (bless their hearts) kept announcing to stay away from the wildlife it can be dangerous. One of the two seals had a green snout with a tag but Team Billand was unable to read it. ( They "suspect" it was Ka'ale and if they had a cat they might just bet on it).
Looked like the seals were foraging in the bay, with all the humans in the way.
