Team Billand arrived at the usual westside haul out and just as they got there Ka'ale RH32 came up on the rocks. He looks around and went to the right made himself comfortable and went to sleep. HE is one chubby healthy boy.
About 30 minutes later Kekoa RK72 they spotted im coming in and up on the rocks. They watched as the huge waves came in fast and furious one after another. Kekoa was unphased by the waves and went to sleep.
Team Billand headed out to another west beach and spotted a seal in the rocks. There were lots of people around to stay focused on it, the waves were putting on quite a show.
They waited forever to make an ID from afar, finally after an hour they were able to see the seal was a female RL42 Leia. They left her so she wouldn't be disturbed.
When Team Billand made their afternoon check to the westside beach, Kekoa was still there and now joined by Kawena RH36. He was being the gentleman by not pestering her but just staying close by.
As they watched Kekoa and Kawena wave after wave came in pounding them, but they remained side by side.
Suddenly out of nowhere another seal came slithering in. It was R3CU, he carefully looked for Kawena but didn't notice her or Kekoa iin the rocks. But then... Kawena made the mistake of sneezing, that sent R3CU from 0 to 60 over the rocks. Kekoa whooped his butt, R3CU fought back some but then left over the rocks and right up to Kawena. R3CU was practically nose to nose with her.
