On a routine pan from Makai Pier I kept quick observations at Kaupo Beach Park. At 1009 I saw an animal in the water line rocks mid way on the beach mid way from the pump house to the small memorial on the pier side parking let. It was an obvious Right Spot (R016). I contacted the Hotline. She has been there all day. ID was by her ventral chest scars, and her right side posterior NB.
At 1023 after checks all day looking from tip to tip of Rabbit Island and on a routine pan at 1023 I found Aka out on the left rock flats. This was just like yesterdays hangin’ out on the left flats.
Tammy & Dave called at 0605, once again on their Ka’ena Point mission via the northern route. At 0605 their day began with their report of Holokai (RG40) & Luana (RN58) together at Hidden Beach. It was a great way to start the day.
After getting out to Ka’ena Point at 0733 they reported RN14 at the main pool. At 0806 T&D reported RP (RR70) on the back beach, KP.
Team Billand checked in at 0734 with the report of Ka’ale (RH32) at Kahe Pt.
At 1244 the Billands reported RL42 foraging doing 6 minute dives off shore of a Makaha location.
Evening Instagram shots seemed to have a solid Kaiwi (RK96) with her N96 showing what looks like somewhere around the Outrigger area today, as other possible shots.
