At 0820 Kekoa (RK72) hauled out to Rocky Right Beach.
At 1142 the same J/M that has been at RI of late, hauled out to join the two adult males at Rocky Right Beach.
Posse member Paul Hasley texted at 1206 reporting an animal just hauled out to the Lanai Lookout flats. When I got over there at 1337 I confirmed the Kolohe (RW22) ID.
Lesley called at 0700 with an over nighted report on RW02, molting away to the Erdman side of the Mokuleia Lyman Estate.
Lesley and Diane Gabriel did the End of the World trek today , going in from the west side. Since Marilyn in on the mainland this week, their above & beyond trek is much appreciated.
On the back beach at Ka’ena Point they reported Ka’ena (RO40)& Aukai(RL12). At the main pool they reported Kerby (RW08).
On the way out they reported Lei Ola (RH48), 1 mile from the trail head, and at the ½ mile mark found Ka’ale (RH32).
The Billands were back on the road today after a week off. At 0834 they reported R8HE at L#4, KoOlina.
At 1311 they found Pohaku (RO28) at Maili Guard Rails.
Lesley got back home to Mokuleia to find RK36 nearing the end of his molt. Thanks to both Lesley & Diane for the trek, and the trip report and photos.
