HMMA Update from September 22nd

At 0550 a call came in about a seal at Nanakuli Beach Park. Barbara ID'ed Pohaku (RO28) near the canoes. Richard responded. He set up SRA at about 0820. Richard provided some outreach to a few people and then Pohaku took off south down the coast at about 0915. He waited a bit to see if she would return to the beach. At 0703 Rhea checked in with a report of a seal across from the fire station in Hauula. Diane responded and found Honey Girl (R5AY) at 0820. Diane reported that between 1100 and Honey Girl was back in the water at 1320. At 0756 a report came in about a seal at the Mokuleia birth beach. Lesley ID'ed Ka'ale (RH32). Ka'ale was still there are 1706 when Lesley checked again. At 1148 Karen T. checked in with a report of a sleeping Lei Ola (RH48) at the Keiki Pool. At 1240 a report came in about a seal at the Outrigger Canoe Club. Seal was later ID'ed as Kaiwi (RK96) by Colleen. At 1538 a report came in about a seal at Ewa Beach. Ralph responded and ID'ed Rocky (RH58). Ralph set up a zone and provided some outreach to people in the beach.

 Karen T. checked in via email from Turtle Bay. She found Lei Ola (RH48) asleep at Keiki Pool, TBR at 1140. She was still there when Karen departed at 1300.
