I arrived at Makai Pier at 0830 but it would be 0937 before I found the same juvenile U/M, with 2 red tags, newly hauled out of Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. Once again I was unable to find anything with which I could make a ID.
At 1250 I found Kolohe (RW22) , once again, on the Lanai Lookout Flats.
Team Billand called at 0448 advising that Benny (RE74) & Pohaku (RO28) were at Paradise Cove. Unfortunately, just as with yesterday, Benny would depart prior to the arrival of the NOAA folk. Pohaku would remain, but no further word on Benny.
At 0804 the Billands reported Nihoa (R912) again at Maili Guard Rails. No further word.
A reliable source emailed at 1151 advising that Kaiwi (RK96)&Rocky(RH58) were still at Outrigger Canoe Club. No further word.
Posse member Tammy T., did the End of the World trek today. On her way in she found an what would prove to be BG(R303) at 10 min Beach, and nobody at KP. On they way home she checked Mokuleia and found an RK36(R4DJ) at the birth beach, but no Ka’ale.
Barbara did the KP trek from the west side and at 1220 reported 2 animals at the KP. They would prove to be Ka’ena (RO40)&RW02. BG (R303) would cruise in at 1308.
