Diane checked in via email from Turtle Bay. She arrived at 0900, she found Lei Ola (H48) hauled out and sleeping on the right side of the Keiki Pool. The last 3 days she has been seen mostly out of the water, which Diane believed was a bit unusual. Diane noted on Lei Ola's right chin area there appeared to be mark that looked like a bite. She was still sleeping when Diane left at 1315.
Carola checked in via email. She checked the beaches this afternoon from Camp Erdman to Hidden/Secret beach and back. Only seal was RW02 at the birth beach, no sign of Ka’ale. There was one lady on the beach sun bathing. Carola did some outreach and asked her to keep a safe distance from the seal, she was understanding and complied. Carola met Lesley at the birth beach she informed Carola that she had already notified hotline.
