9/18/2016 DB's Dailies:

At 0737 I found Kea (RN46) just moving out of the tall grass behind Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. He would remain all day.

At 0828 a juvenile female with new coat and 2 red tags hauled out to join Kea. I was never able to see enough to make an ID. Both would enter the water at 1226. Kea would haul out alone , 60 ft right of 3BS at 1302.

Marilyn did a SE quadrant check through the morning, checking every nook & cranny, but alas, found nobody.

Melanie did her usual Sunday afternoon checks of the same nooks crannies, but lo & behold she reported Buster (RV08) at China Walls at 1305 !!!

At 0815 Team Billand reported Kekoa (RK72) at Maili Point.

At 0937 they found RL42 at Makua Cliffs.

Barbara trekked to the End of the World from the west side and reported RIP (RR70) at Ka’ena Point at 1139, and then little brother Ka’ena (RO40) at 1204.

Robert Billand called at 1315 with the report of Pohaku (RO28) at Puka Pants Beach, Nanakuli.

Heard a rumor about Kaiwi being at Outrigger again today. On my perusal of Instagram I found a piece of video showing her arrival. In the video her natural bleach is clearly visible on the top of her head, however the download of the video only shows a still. It was most definitely squeaky clean Kaiwi (RK96).

At 1626 Team Billand reported Benny (RE74) at Paradise Cove.
