8/21/2015 DB's Dailies: Aukai,Nani&Kainoa@RI, Kaiwi@CW, Kolohe@LL, Pohaku@Nanakuli, Holokai & Kimo Kai@Turtle Bay,

On my 1st look at Rabbit Island, at 0753 I found Kainoa (RN04) & Aukai (RL12) together, 80 ft right of 3BS. Kainoa would enter the water at 1009, and haul out to join Nani (RK60) who had hauled out to the left end at 0939. All would remain the rest of the day.

 Marilyn called at 0920 with word of Kaiwi (RK96) at China Walls. Gayle would also confirm Kaiwi still there in the afternoon.

 At 1336 I found Kolohe (RW22) at Buster Flats, Lanai Lookout .

 Team Billand called at 0602 with the report of Pohaku (RO28) by herself at Nanakuli.

At 0638 they called again to advise that Benny (RE74) was foraging off shore of that location, however a later conversation confirmed that Benny never hauled out. Pohaku remains at dark. Thanks to Deb & Kelly.

 At 1400 a conversation with Diane Gabriel, at Turtle Bay with Holokai (RG40), brought word of Kimo Kai (RT12) at 2nd Beach, TB. As far as I know this marks his first sighting on that side. Thank you Diga & Karen T. !! ID was by his RT43 tag.

 My unofficial calendar shows that today is D#42 for Rocky&PK4, on Kauai. Val advises that as of 1342 they were still together. Only Rocky Knows !!
