At 1024 Gayle called with the report of Kea (RN46) at the cove on the Sandy Beach side of the Blowhole Lookout. He had not been there on my previous checks. Diane T, Missus W, and I all did checks throughout the day. Kea remained at dark.
Linda N., called at 1222 with the report of Rocky on the Kokee Flats. I confirmed the Rocky ID (RH58) at 1300. The girl is definitely “round & firm & fully packed(& easy on the draw)...” (Lucky Strike cigarette ad... 1945!...you can Google It !) . Linda reported Rocky’s departure at 1813.
Team Billand called at 0811 to advise that Dana had called with the report of an animal at Lagoon #4, KoOlina. They could not respond, however Dana later confirmed that it was Pohaku (RO28 ).Thank you Terri T., for the shot.
At 1325 the Billands reported Haupu (RB24) between T#1 & the fence line at White Plains. Per lifeguards , she had been there since around 1030. They had received no calls, and just found her on their own.
The Billands are still with Haupu, so check the blog in the morning for their day.
