1/10/2015 DB's Dailies:Aukai&Kainoa@RI, Kea@BH, Kaiwi@CW, Haupu&RIP@WP, Kolohe@Secrets, RK36@Maili Pt., Pohaku@Maili, RW02@Camp Erdman

At 0928 I found Aukai (RL12), 40 ft left of 1BS, and Kainoa (RN04) fronting 1BS, on Rabbit Island. They would comprise the Rabbit Island cast for today.

 Though we had looked numerous time, Lesley’s Hotline call at 0931 brought word that an animal had been reported in the cove on the Sandy Beach side of the Blowhole Lookout. Marilyn confirmed the Kea (RN46) ID at 0949.

 At 1029 Marilyn reported Kaiwi (RK96) at China Walls.

 Mahalos to Marilyn Gayle & Melanie for trekking the SE quadrant today.

 At 0940 Team Billand reported Haupu (RB24) fronting Tower#1 , White Plains. She would be joined by RIP (RR70) at 1112.

 Volunteer Warren called the Billands with the report of an animal at Secrets at 1101, and cordoned it off.

The Billands confirmed the Kolohe (RW22) ID at 1200.

Diane Terai advised that Kolohe departed at 1725. At 1250 the Billands reported RK36, at Maili Point.

 At 1316 the Billands advised that they’d gotten a Hotline call from Lesley, about animal at Maili. The animal had apparently been there yesterday also. Though the animal was now gone, a photo ID of Pohaku (RO28) was made by the Billands.

 Late in the afternoon I got a 3rd hand report of RW02 at Camp Erdman.

We have visitors arriving so I’ll send the dailies off a bit early. Check the blog in the morning for the Billands day
