As has been the case of late, my Rabbit Island day began with Sadie snoozin' in the Morning Glory, 40 ft left of 1BS. She would move down and depart at 0909. I did not see her again today.

At 0621 I found Sam's chubby bod, leisurely swimming off shore of 1BS. He would haul out 3 times to 1BS today. On two separate occasions he met M38, and ended the day with M38 at his side. There was only minimal , observed interaction.

M38 hauled out initially at 1BS at 0632, and moved up to join Sadie, briefly , in the Morning Glory, but stayed only two minutes. He would haul out with Sam 3 times, and Kolohe once. Just routine "cruiser" day.

On a pan at 1120 I found Kolohe snoozin' on the water front rocks at Rocky Right Beach (RRB) at the right end of the island. He would remain there all day .

At 1318 a green Whaler arrived and 3 of the 4 occupants disembarked to RI, and made there way around the Makapuu end of the island, returning to their boat at 1350. One of the guys , quite to his surprise met Kolohe. The guy nearly jumped out of his wet suit. Kolohe remained. I called DOCARE, of course, at 1322, and again to advise that they were departing at 1350. I was told in "DOCARESPEAK", that nobody was coming......AGAIN ! The DOCARE Legend continues.

Team Billand's first call came at 0630 with the report of Makaiwi once again in front of her cottage (#1703) at the Nimitz Cottages.

The Billands called again at 0705 to report Kermit at Kermit's Reef on the west side of the Nimitz jetty. He would relocate at 0752 to Wind Sock, Kalaeloa Beach.

This was D#14 for R5AY&P at Turtle Bay.
