7/10/2010 Pufferfish Dying at an Alarming Rate

Aloha Good People;

This story appeared on KHON2 on the 9th... and its a bit upsetting.... although the only connection I have with a pufferfish is knowing our monk seals enjoy playing and eating them.... and well the character in "finding nemo"... I have to admit I am very concerned.

This is something when we look at how a single species might have an effect on other species as well as us personally... I do hope they figure out what is going on. There are some phone numbers at the bottom of the article so on your time out on the beaches you see any dead puffer fish, give a call and report it.
