7/1/2010 DB Dailies

The Rabbit Island cast was Ewa Girl & Pup (D#36) at the left end, with Duke at the right end, and Buster in "cruiser" mode, everywhere. Sadie made an appearance late in the day, at 3BS. Her molt is 100%.

Ewa Girl is starting to look pretty slack. The pup has completed the transition phase and is sporting a fine, shiny new coat with a white belly. I may have word for you tomorrow , on a sex.

Tracy called at 0645 to say that Right Spot was still at Turtle Bay. She was scheduled to get a cell tag, but the operation was called off.

Posse member Toni Russ, in Ewa Beach, called at 0650 to say that she had seen an animal swimming toward the west, just off shore, with a transmitter on its back.

Posse member Brenda Sparks saw the same thing at White Plains around 1149, first at the east end and then at the west end of WP. There was never a haul out. It's impossible to state an ID, but my dollar is definitely on RIP. Maybe Charles can enlighten us ?

Team Billand found Makaiwi (4DF) fronting #1704, at the Nimitz Cottages at 0725. She was gone when they did their 1430 check.

Diane Gabriel sent today's installment of R5AY & Pup shots from Turtle Bay. Oh da' cute !

There had been a report of an animal at Iroquois Point. Team Billand responded and confirmed that it was Rocky.

The various news programs are covering the dead turtle found at White Plains this morning. Team Billand was on it ......as usual.
