7/12/2010 DB Dailies

Sadie was waiting for me at her usual spot at 0659, back at the cliff , 40 ft left of 1BS, on Rabbit Island. She would move down at 0936, and depart at 1015.

I found Sam swimming off shore of Right Greenery (RG), at 0936. He would semi-haul out to the low tide rocks at 1BS, and was apparently chasing small prey in the tide pools. He would haul out for real at 1157, 40 ft left of 1BS.

Duke hauled out 40 ft left of 1BS at 1047. Sam would join him at 1157. It was their first observed meeting. Duke was cordial but didn't give Sam much ,since he is approaching molt, and isn't his usual self.

At 1235 Buster would haul out to join the kids. He was ready to play, but neither of the boyz were the least bit interested. He was in and out of the shore break a couple of times trying to get the youngsters to join him, but no dice. He finally gave up and went to snooze mode with the other two.

Team Billand found Makaiwi at #1703, Nimitz Cottages at 0721. She would be gone when they did there 1439 check.

The Billands reported Kermit at Wind Sock, Kalaeloa Beach at 0817. Kermit departed at 1620.
