Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:45 am to 1:55 pm and there were seven seals seen during that time.
Out on LPB near each other were weaner PO5 and weaner PO3. PO5 was identified by his light male belly. He seems larger than PO3. PO3 never showed her female belly or her tag.
PO4 was weaned overnight and was alone today on the beach between the 3BS and SRI. Marilyn was able to confirm that PO4 is a male. He moved around and appeared to vocalize several times.
At LPB were MO10 and her pup PO10 with a Sub-adult Female nearby.
Marilyn only saw one nursing session for MO10 & PO10. PO10 moved away from mom several time, but later moved back to mom. MO10 has at least one tag on her RRF.
Nearby was a Sub-adult Female: sub-adult size, female belly. Marilyn did not see tags on the SF.
Out on RRB was a Juvenile Female: juvenile size, female belly, no info on tags.
Team R&B's first and only find was the little skinny Molokai girl RU22. She was alone sleeping near the shore. There were fishers to the right but not bothering her.
Team R&B are worried about this little one, this is not a good place to hang out, there are so many dogs in the area. Not to mention she so skinny and green.
They continued to search for seals but ended up spotting some dolphins. They spent three hours hanging out watching the dolphinsdo what they do best. That was until two jet skis and two dolphin boats arrived, that was that the dolphins headed further out.
Lastly they saw some splashing and recognized the booby bird. It had a big fish. He was having a hard time swallowing it. He flew farther out with the fish, then landed and ate his catch.
