Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:50 to 2:42 pm and there were initially two seals and ultimately four seen during that time.

On the Lanikai side of LPB was a Juvenile Female: larger juvenile size, old coat with lots of green, female belly and two tags.

At Middle Cliff was weaner PO13: large weaner size, light female belly, and no tag. She later wedged herself between two rocks and remained in that position for the rest of Marilyn's viewing session. This is the first time Marilyn has seen her away from LPB or the adjacent rock flats.

At 1:50 pm a Weaner Unknown hauled out between Middle Cliff and the 3BS: weaner size, sand covered belly and at least two tags.

At 12:40 pm RP24 Mohala hauled out of the RRB channel onto the rock flats: adult size, new coat, female belly, small NB on the tip of RFF and larger NB on the tip of LFF and two red tags.

There was a couple on island for about an hour. They did approach the J/F at one point but when she reacted they moved away.

Marilyn saw up of the ridge of the backside of Rabbit Island crater where a bunch of Iwa (frigate) birds. She doesn't see them very often, and yesterday she saw over 50 of them flying along Bamboo Ridge. They are often seen when there are or have been tropical storms in the region.

Team R&B checked out the west side and were thrilled to find RG28 Lefty. He was alone resting on the rocks near the zen.  The Lauhala tree went down in the storm, its been there for at least 40 years.

They got a text from posse pal Carol of two seals at paradise cove. Team R&B headed over and there on shore was a molting seal. It was RL20 Kalua who is nearly done with his molt. Also was a female in the water resting. She later landed with RL20 and it turned out to be Aukai RL12. There were signs up.

Team R&B went out to check yoks but it was closed. They could see all the changes to the shoreline due to the storm. Hardly any sand, lots of big rocks.  The lifeguard stand is exposed and the huge concrete blocks were moved out of the area by the surf. Lastly they checked the area where L70 was found. All the rocks that had been stacked are all gone. Still so sad losing her.
