May 29, 2026 Friday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:20 to 2:28 pm and there were seven seals seen during that time.
The big news was the birth of PO10!!!!
On the far back Lanikai side of LPB was a Juvenile Female: larger juvenile size, female belly, not sure about tags.
On LPB up from the LPB channel was weaner PO3: weaner size, light female belly, Allflex tag on RRF.
Between the 1BS and the 2BS were RK38 Hali'a and her pup PO4. RK38 is looking very thin. PO4 is looking bigger but still smaller than PO3 and PO5.

Weaner PO5 started out in the Middle Cliff area and entered the water twice as the tide rose. Then he disappeared and swam down and hauled out near the 1BS. He's weaner size and has a light male belly.
Up from the SRI channel were adult female MO10 and her new pup PO10. MO10 has at least one and probably two tags. PO10 seemed active but also slept for a considerable time. Both mom and pup seem fine.

Team R&B first find on the west side was little RU22. She was alone on shore. Someone from one of the agencies came out to observe. The little one hardly moved.  She is green and thin.
Then they found Miss Kala RH76 alone resting on the rocks near the seal inlet. Team R&B got word that she got an applied bleach of 7. She moved to much to get the N on her.

Later in the day after an appointment they went to plains, after getting a text earlier.
When they arrived there was RT06 on shore. There were kids sat right by the signs, eating and drinking soda. Team R&B watched and listened and one of the kids thought the seal might want a sandwich and then kicked sand. ugh! Thankfully mom came and they left the sight.
Seems RT06 has put on some weight looking nice and plump..
