On Saturday:
Alone on LPB was an Unknown Adult: adult size, unsure about sex or tags. The coat was sandy and possibly a scar on the upper right chest.
Between Middle Cliff and 3BS were two seals:
Adult Female: adult size, newer coat, light female belly with a jagged scar on the upper chest.
Down from the 3BS was a Juvenile Female: larger juvenile size, newer coat with light tan female belly and two red tags.
There were three seals between 3BS and SRI:
Female Weaner: weaner size, older coat, yellowish tan female belly and two red tags.
RG32: adult size, about 55% molted, gray male belly and no tags.
A short distance away was RK24 Wawamalu/Bruno: small adult size, light male belly, scar on rear right side, unsure about tags.
On the Waianae side they saw two seals"
RM30/31 Kai and his brother RP30/31 both ID'd by their tags. The two were rough-housing in a tide pool and then took a snooze on the rocks.
At the point in the afternoon were four seals. One seal was on back beach and three were in the main pool. He wasn't able to make an ID, he did not see any tags or identifying markers.
On Friday:
Early morning on they found Kala RH76 on shore at the bay. They saw another seal coming in whoturned out to be RH32 Kaale. He pestered her until she went into the water with him. He was very sweet by rolling over and showing off. Kala followed him and the two went off.
Thinking that was it, until they spotted a smaller seal foraging off the rocks. There was Kai RM31 getting some fish and he never hauled out.
