And what a day they had!
They started their morning at the bay. Their first find was the lovely Miss Kala RH76. She was in her "zen" garden. Then they spotted a seal foraging who they ID's as RL20 Kalua. He later landed and was with RH76.
To add to their excitement another seal hauled up on the rocks. It was RG28 Lefty who stayed for a little bit and then left only to haul out in a different spot.
Team R&B were thrilled to find multiple seals, in all there were five.
Next they spotted the lovely RH48 Lei Ola foraging. Her applied bleach N48 showed through nicely! She didn't land, even after three hours of waiting. Her snout and hind-flippers are very green.
Then there was the 5th seal, it took a lot of focus with all the seals foraging. But Team R&B sorted it all all and they ID'd R3CX Nalu foraging with Lei Ola. His natural bleach on left side of his face and the scar on his right eye gave them what they needed for his ID. R3CX was good enough to eventually haul out for them.
At another west side location they found two male seals. They were resting side by side, one was RM31 Kai and the other was R416 Makalii.
Lastly they spotted two seals together on shore from afar. They headed over to the site and found R604 and RN14 Kalani.
R604's cc scars were visible and she looking gorgeous and chubby.
The large male with her was green and no tags. His cc scar under belly and on his head gave them what they needed to ID RN14 Kalani.
