Kathy is new to the area but is already a huge monk seal fan.  Today she was on a beach in Ewa when she came across a large female bathing beauty. Someone on site said that the seal had spent the night and she was still there at 8:15 this morning.  Thankfully that beautiful natural bleach on her front flipper lets us know its Rocky RH58.  

Security has put up a few signs but they are getting hard to read. Hopefully someone can get some newer ones to Security.  (I'll have to ask around).

Team R&B started at the bay where they found Mr. Kai RM31 just hauling up on the rocks. The tide was still high as he inched his way up. Got up and turned on his side and stayed put.

They were also treated to the dolphins at play. One dolphin had an ice bag on his fin.

At another west side location they found one other seal. It was RG32 alone on lower rocks. There was a guy picking up shells or opihi, so they waited a bit to make sure all was good.

Unfortunately Team R&B had to cut their day short to take care of their dog at home.
